2. Fire Emblem: Three Houses

Even if you're not a fan of the Fire Emblem franchise, it's pretty hard to ignore all the glowing reviews of Fire Emblem: Three Houses that's scattered online. It's one of the best reviewed games of 2019 and should remain as one of the top-ranked RPGs as the year progresses. 



3. Wolfenstein: Youngblood

The Wolfenstein franchise has been a staple in the gaming industry since 1981. And along with the Wolfenstein brand comes the expectation of playing a great first-person shooter while ridding the world of digitally-rendered Nazis. Youngblood picks up the story two decades after Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and promises to deliver more of the same solid gunplay that its other current-gen titles had.



4. Madden NFL 20

Release Date: August 2, 2019

Madden NFL remains as one of the best sports sims in the market today. What's new in this year's iteration is Face of the Franchise, a career mode that spans from the college level to playing in the pros. It sounds like a better version of the franchise's long-running Superstar Mode which was in dire need of a refresh. We're definitely nabbing this on day one if only to see how the revamped career mode works.



5. Age of Wonders: Planetfall

If you're into turn-based strategy games, then you should definitely be saving up for Age of Wonders: Planetfall. It's releasing on August 6 and looks to improve on the stellar gameplay that the Age of Wonders series is known for. Planetfall also features a new sci-fi theme as opposed to the franchise's usual fantasy setting which is actually something we're personally excited about.
