Just in case you aren’t a car guy and a nerd: Elon Musk is a tech titan in a mild Tony Stark kind of way. His business interests include renewable energy, space exploration, and electric vehicles. Tesla is his EV marque, and his cars are arguably sexy for electrics currently on sale.

But is the new Tesla Cybertruck off Musk’s production line sexy?

Tangina.

Napamura talaga kami eh. Yeah, it looks Bladerunner-ish like what many articles have so far described it. Pero bro, ewan ha, mukha siyang gawa sa Talyer ni Mang Ading sa kanto.

Look at the sheet metal of the body work. Parang gawa sa yero…na pinukpok ng latero ni Mang Ading. Futuristic na puro kanto. But Elon Musk claims that it's literally hammer-resistant and “bulletproof.” Eh di wow.

Musk also said that the glass is impact-resistant, but when he demoed it onstage at the launch…the fucking glass broke.

One thing, though, that Mang Ading’s Talyer might not be able to deliver because surplus Isuzu diesel engines lang ang kaya niyang ilagay sa mga gawa niya—the Tesla Cybertruck’s supposed specs, according to jalopnik.com: 14,000-pound tow claim, a 3,500-pound payload claim, three ranges (200 miles, 300 miles and 500 miles).

And how much for Elon’s truck? $39,000 (P1.9 million) for the base range and $69,000 (P3.5 million) for the top of the line all-wheel drive with three electric motors.

For that much money, kayang-kaya kang igawa ni Mang Ading ng sampung trak na ganyang-ganyan ang itsura.
