Over 1,700 Pinoy riders pulled out their best suits and their vintage motorcycles to brave the heat and take part in this year's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR.) The DGR is an international charity ride aimed to raise funds for the Movember Foundation to support prostate cancer research and men's mental health.

The event started in in Sydney, Australia in 2012. Now, it's being held in 110 countries and more than 700 cities. Since its inception, it has raised over 18.5 million US Dollars for men's health.

The franchise was brought to the Philippines five years ago by motorcycle collector, Mark Laccay. Laccay and his friends from vintage Lambretta and Vespa clubs have been organizing similar rides before. Using these events as a proof of concept, he finally wrote the DGR headquarters and ask to bring the charity ride to Manila.
