Makati remains one of the top teams in the Lakan Cup after defeating Cebu City, 73-67. Jeckster Apinan and Joseph Sedurifa steadied the ship for Makati at the end of regulation to help claim their 5th win in the Lakan Cup. Cebu came close to within a basket of stealing the game with a 9-0 run late in the 4th quarter but fell short. Cebu, who missed the scoring punch of Patrick Cabahug, dropped to 3-5 with the loss.



Home team Muntinlupa took care of business behind double-double. Edsel Mag-Isa tallied 24 points and 11 rebounds while Ryuse Koga contributed 22 points and 14 assists for Muntinlupa's cause.


Paranaque also took home a win as they narrowly beat Imus, 81-77. Jemal Vizcarra and Keith Pido paved the way for Paranaque's 3rd win in 8 games. Jayjay Helterbrand and the rest of the Imus squad are still trying to find their way this season and is now nursing a 2-4 slate.
