Former PBA player Gabby Espinas suited up for Manila in their game against Marikina at the Angeles University Foundation Arena. In his MPBL debut, Espinas grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with 7 points to help Manila improve to a 7-1 record. Six Manila players scored at least 10 points with Carlo Lastimosa leading the way with 22 markers. After losing the game, 96-107, Marikina now owns a disappointing 7-game losing streak and remains winless for the season.

The Pampanga Giant Lanterns held down the fort against a visiting Valenzuela in a 77-74 slugfest. Mark Cruz delivered in the endgame as he scored on multiple free throws and came up with a defensive stop to help Pampanga improve to 5-3 in the standings. The Green Lanterns remain in the sixth spot in the tough Northern Division.

Bulacan also escaped with a win against Binan City, 87-82, behind timely baskets from a returning Gwynne Capacio. Bulacan improves to 4-4 at the expense of Binan who dropped its sixth game for a 3-6 record.
