Bulacan took care of business at home as they beat Valenzuela, 97-79. Six players scored double digits for the Kuyas including a double-double performance from Jun Bonsubre. Bonsubre scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in one of his best games since being acquired by Bulacan from Mandaluyong. The Kuyas improve to 5-4 with the win.



The Cocolife-backed Davao Occidental Tigers picked up a similarly convincing win against Navotas, 94-74. It's their 5th straight win in the Lakan Cup as they keep a tight grip on the top spot of the southern division.


Zamboanga equals Bulacan's record at 5-4 with an easy win against SOCCSKSARGEN, 100-75. The 25 point demolition keeps the SOCCSKSARGEN Marlins winless in 7 games and propels Zamboanga to a more comfortable spot in the top half of their division.
