The saga that is securing the new NBA TV contract for the Philippines is not over yet, but we're happy that select games are finally making their way back to our television screens–and for freeeee!
CNN Philippines (that's channel 9 in Manila) just revealed the initial run of games you can catch this November:
- November 16 11:30AM Boston Celtics vs. Golden State Warriors
- November 17 8:00AM Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers
- November 23 11:30AM Houston Rockets vs. LA Clippers
- November 24 10:00AM New Orleans Pelicans vs. Utah Jazz
- November 30 10:00AM Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns
No Lakers, sad. Anyway, those are all weekends in case you didn't notice, so there's no need to start locking down the office pantry TV just yet. At least you can spend lazy Saturday and Sunday mornings lounging in front of your TV instead of catching the FB live streams on your cramped phone–just like how life should be.
The local league reps also plugged the monthly NBA League Pass as an alternative while the "situation" remains to be resolved but we really don't feel like paying for a phone pass lol. Let's hope something like NBA Premium TV actually gets to make a return this season!
