Deodorant

We shouldn’t even be telling you this but deodorant is the most basic grooming product every guy should own. Whether it’s roll-on, stick, or spray no one is above using deo, especially with the sweat-inducing temperatures we have to endure here.

Facial Wash

Girls like to keep their lips glossy. But we don’t want to get the gloss from the oil on your face when they kiss it. Washing your face with a facial cleanser at least twice a day removes dirt and keeps excess oil at bay. The skin on your face needs a little more TLC compared to the rest of your body, so a regular bar of soap just won’t do. If you have certain issues like acne or dryness, you can take the extra step by getting a product that targets these skin concerns.

Toner

This is the part where it might take a little bit more convincing. Seeing a guy rubbing a cotton pad across his face may not be a usual sight, but it’s already 2019 so nobody’s judging you if you want your face to be squeaky clean. Washing your face won’t be able to remove the dirt and oil that’s deep in your pores, so this is where toner comes in. Choosing the right one may be quite overwhelming with a ton of brands and variants available, but that’s what girlfriends and girl friends are for! We’ll be more than happy to help you choose the right product for your skin type and/or skin concerns.

Sunblock

Gone are the days when you’ll only apply sunblock when you’re at the beach (and never reapply!). All of us are exposed to the sun everyday, so guys aren’t exempted from skipping sunscreen. No matter how long your exposure to the sun is, you need to apply sunscreen daily to help prevent skin damage. Thankfully, most skin care brands offer sunblocks formulated for daily use. Just look for the keywords “non-sticky” and “non-greasy” on the label. Not the slathering type? Opt for a spray format so you can just mist and go!

Lip Balm

If you like kissing soft and smooth puckers, us girls want the same thing too! There are a lot of causes to dry lips: constant lip licking, cold weather, dehydration, etc. Good thing lip balms (and lots of water) are here to save the day. It’s easy to find a regular, non-tinted variant in convenience stores and supermarkets so you have no excuse. We want to nibble your plump bottom lip, not the dry patch of skin on top of it.
