Boost soles are some of the best cushioning we've ever had on our feet—even Nike stans have admitted that the styrofoam-esque material is a pleasure to walk on. Wouldn't it be great if you could wear it every day? Like, instead of your leather shoes at work or something? That's the pitch of Boostin' Soles and their insoles.

They've got these sweet keychains too

The 0.7cm and 1.6cm insoles are their main offerings—the thinner ones for daily use, and the thicker ones for stuff like basketball sneaks. We were worried that trimming them to shape would cause them to flake apart, but don't worry it's safe to do so.

Handy guides for trimming

After pulling out the insoles from our Ultraboosts, we realized they were thin af. Because who thinks about their insoles anyway, right? We put the 0.7cm ones in and we have to say that there is noticeable improvement in feel. It didn't add a boing to our stride or anything, rather it's like your foot doesn't bottom out on the ground as much when you take a step.

Rep box don't mind lol
Unless you're really sagad with your shoes, the bump in height is negligible on the fit

They're substantial enough to give that 10% extra comfort that can make a key difference after a long day on your feet. And that's testing them with comfy shoes to begin with. Stick them in spartan pairs like Chucks and the difference is even bigger.

Some insoles like the Vans UltraCush are actually thick, but the Boostin' ones were still definitely softer to touch. Yeah, we totally passed them around the office and squished them repeatedly.

They also look way more aesthetic than gel insoles yo

The negatives? They smelled a bit dank right out of the box, so we just aired them out overnight to be sure it didn't stick to our kicks. We were also worried that the material may be hot or sweat-inducing compared with cloth, but we didn't really notice a difference. The price at P1200 for the 0.7cm versions is a little steep, but if you actually wear your shoes every day, then that cost spreads out fairly enough.
