The Scorpio Nights franchise remains and always will be a cult-classic in Pinoy cinema. To see Christine take that challenging albeit 'big-shoes-to-fill' role, it's definitely a career-defining moment for her. As for the franchise, we can imagine that it will live through the years, passed on to many generations, and who knows? Maybe twenty years from now, we'll see a new Scorpio Nights set in the post-modern era.
That being said, it seems like direk Law has taken on a muse in Christine, because as soon as SN3 was out there he signed Christine in another project that will have fans see a new, more daring, and we must say, more lethal side of our darling crush. I was thirteen at the time, and was one of the contestants of my school's pageant; I was candidate #2. There was chaos backstage, because many contestants were having wardrobe problems. So I was there standing by when I heard the music started, and my bida-bida-self walked right out of the stage even though my name wasn't called. Turns out, the music was for a special performer, not for the models. I had no choice but to exit to the backstage HA HA HA! I couldn't look at the other candidates, because I was so embarrassed.
