Marikina City seems like it's caught between different times. It's a city that has really developed throughout the years with tons of shopping complexes popping up left and right, yet surprisingly, has kept its rural charm somehow. We can't decide if it's old buildings that were never renovated or how old businesses are still somehow thriving... or maybe it's because of the random cow you see pulling a caravan from time to time. It's probably the cow! We took the day off to hang out with Mang Adong and his cow, Jordan, to see how their typical day is like, shuffling along the busy streets of Marikina in the last caravan out there.
