Okay, call us cheats—we are not “real” BLACKPINK fans if by real you mean we are obsessed with them so much we know each and every detail of their lives.
We don’t. All we know is that our jaws drop every time we watch their videos on YouTube and stare at their pictures on Instagram or anywhere else. It doesn’t take an obsessed Kpop fan to know that the girls of BLACKPINK—Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa—are on fire.
And yes, we had our bias right from the very beginning. Ours is Jennie and Lisa.
Do we have to explain why? We think it’s plain to see. But what we didn’t know—and this makes us lousy fans—is that there is a #JenLisa Day every 23rd of the month. If it weren’t for Twitter we wouldn’t know! Apparently JenLisa shippers found too many coincidences surrounding the number 23 that they were convinced JenLisa is real.
