Currently in beta form (aka you can download it, but your progress will be wiped after), Marvel Super War is the latest mobile offering to ride the (tidal) wave that is the MCU. Developed by NetEase games, of Rules of Survival fame, Super War is basically a MOBA game with a splash of Marvel paint on top.
Literally, it looks like a reskin of any of the popular MOBA games out there. A mobile version of Ultimate Alliance it is not, which was what instantly shot into our heads when we heard about this game. Good thing that game is finally getting a third entry after nine long years by the way.
Now that looks inspiring. Maybe our expectations are high because Super War is most likely going to be a free game upon full release anyway, but it's still kind of disappointing that after the high note that was Endgame, Marvel reminds us all that it's all about the sweet stacks of cash by releasing this game that's sure to make a profit, but has barely any artistic inspiration behind it.
