In case you missed it, a new trailer for the Final Fantasy VII remake was recently released by Playstation and Square Enix. After being announced in 2015, we've heard very little in terms of development updates except when Square Enix took over the project from CyberConnect2 and started working on it in-house. The trailer doesn't give us anything other than there's "more to come in June" which means we probably have to wait for E3 for more meaty details. At least we know that the remake is still alive and is actually looking pretty darn good. Seeing Cloud, Barret, Aerith, and the rest of the gang rendered in HD really made us feel nostalgic for one of the best games we've ever played and excited that we're actually going to get a chance to play it again on current gen consoles.
