We're all thankful that the situation yesterday in Greenhills has been resolved relatively peacefully. We're not too sure about the way it was handled, but we can all agree that the hostage crisis could have ended badly. Thankfully, with the exception of one security who was shot (he's in stable condition), all the hostages were released safely.

But what was surprising was how the crowd stayed on for the whole thing, and the local police allowing them to loiter in close proximity to the danger zone. What's even puzzling is how many were broadcasting the whole thing on their phones as the events unfold.

What are your thoughts on the crowd staying on and broadcasting a crisis on their phones? Do you think the police should have evacuated the crowd?
