Vin Diesel started off this IG post very low-key, thanking Paul for sending him another “soldier in the fight for truth.” And then John Cena pops up with a big grin, waves to the came–oh no, it’s actually a surprise YOU CAN’T SEE ME! He doesn’t say a word but it all but confirms it: the wrestler and increasingly actor is coming to the Fast franchise.

We expect Cena to become a welcome addition to action films just like The Rock before him, and based off his growing film repertoire, the Doctor of Thuganomics is taking to the big screen quite well. Here are the top five Cenation flicks you need to check out:

Blockers

Skipping straight to dad roles, Cena proves his comedic chops in Blockers. And willingness to do anything—butt chug! butt chug!

Ferdinand

The first time we saw this trailer, it was a case of “hey, that voice is familiar” but damn, seeing John Cena’s name show on screen was quite a pop.

Bumblebee

Cena’s first role in a major franchise, he played the antagonist Col. Burns of Sector 7 but we all knew he’d be pulling a face-turn at the end of the film—like every army man does in Transformers.

The Marine

The first real movie in Cena’s career approached “so bad it’s good” territory but it’s worth checking out to see just how far he’s come. Like watching those videos of slim Vin Diesel selling toys.

The Wall

So Cena didn’t actually spend time in Iraq for most of The Marine, but he makes up for it with a way more dramatic soldiering role in The Wall, which was directed by Doug Liman of Bourne Identity, no less.
