You is sort of a mix of suspense with “romance.” Despite being creepy as hell for the viewer, take out all the disturbing stalker parts, the kidnapping, and all the other illegal and morally wrong stuff—you have to admit that the show actually has a few, dare we say, kilig moments in it. Seriously, almost all the interactions with Beck and Joe were picture-perfect and that’s exactly why it’s so fu*ked up and a joy to watch.
End of the F***ing World
It’s always a joy to watch dark British comedy with your equally twisted SO, since you’ll both be laughing your heads off the off-color jokes and witty lines. At first, the title might lead you to believe that there won’t be any romance in this series (unless you read the graphic novel, you cheeky hipster you), but honestly, this is some of the downright cutest relationships we’ve seen develop in a while.
Sex Education
After watching this series, we can’t really be sure if we learned anything about sex but it's still quite an enjoyable ride regardless. Coming-of-age stories are always fun to watch with your partner especially if you’ve been together since you were teenagers. Shows like this really give you a lot to reminisce about, and if you’re lucky, maybe even make you want to partake in some naughty hormone-filled activities.
Love
If you want something closer to a traditional rom-com but still experiments on the genre, then Love is the show for you. The uniqueness of the show stems from how it shows both of the perspectives of the guy and the girl while they’re not interacting with one another. It makes the show a lot cuter since you get to see each character as how they are in their everyday lives and how being with each other changes them ever so slightly for the better.
Riverdale
A teen drama that's actually even more dramatic than the lives of real Gen Z-ers (they actually exist!). Despite having a seemingly shallow plot at first, the series really steps up episode after episode. It offers both really shallow romance and gripping mysteries will be to your taste no matter how analytical or basic you want to be.
