1. Lena Headey in 300

Lena Heady who plays Queen Cersei on GoT also plays a queen in the 2006 movie, 300. Heady displays a more forceful approach as Queen of Sparta as opposed to her cunning ways as matriarch of the Lannister clan. 300 remains as one of the most visually striking films we've ever seen and we can only hope for a final battle in GoT as epic as the one featuring the Spartans and the Persian Army.

2. Emilia Clarke in Solo: A Star Wars Story

Who can claim that they've ridden a dragon and a spaceship in a single lifetime? Emilia Clarke surely can, at least as part of her filmography. In between commanding her dragons and freeing slaves on GoT, Clarke made an appearance in outerspace as Han Solo's former fling, Qi'ra. In an ending that shocked us, Qi'ra is seen conversing with Darth Maul himself, setting up Clarke for an extended run in the Star Wars universe.

3. Sophie Turner in X-Men: Apocalypse

There's no denying that GoT has become a modern classic. And because of its success, it has helped launch the careers of some of its young actors and actresses. Sophie Turner was only 14 years old when she was cast as Sansa Stark, her first ever TV role. Now, you can see her in films such as X-Men: Apocalypse playing one of the most recognizable names in the franchise, Jean Grey.

4. Peter Dinklage in The Station Agent

It's hard not to think of Tyrion Lannister when we see Peter Dinklage. After all, he has played the now iconic character since the show started in 2011. But even before that, Dinklage has appeared in many different films and even a handful of theater productions. His most notable pre-Thrones performance would have to be in The Station Agent, a dramedy released in 2003.

5. Kit Harrington in Pompeii

Kit Harrington apparently knows a thing or two about acting. Before taking on the mantle of Jon Snow, Harrington had already been a part of an award-winning play in London while he was still in drama school. But it was really GoT that put his name in the mainstream and he now has quite a few Hollywood films under his belt including the lead role in the 2014 disaster flick, Pompeii.
