1. On a small piano

Ok, it’s not actually a piano but a MIDI controller. But to use such a small piece of equipment to cover such an epic track like the Avengers theme is definitely a weird choice.

2. On ukuleles

We think the ukulele is the only instrument that can make an aggressive piece such as the Avengers theme sound like you’re about to sip a mojito by the beach. If you’ve ever imagined what The Avengers would have sounded like if it was set in Hawaii, then look no further than this all-ukulele cover.

3. On a bagpipe (accompanied by a metal band)

You can argue all you want but it doesn’t get a lot weirder than “heavy metal bagpipe” cover. But while it might sound strange on paper, it actually works and is one of the best covers we listened to.

4. On trombones

“2 guys, 8 trombones” sounds like the title for a bad porn movie that we will never, ever want to see. But this time, it refers to this quirky cover of the Avengers theme song. The manual tremolo effect on that droning note is just perfect.

5. On paper (with a Sharpie)

We don’t know if what was written made sense mathematically but frankly, we don’t care. We are now fully convinced that the opening scene of Avengers: Endgame should feature Tony Stark writing a final letter to Pepper Potts with this playing in the background.
