This who's-going-to-be-the-next-Darna talk is wild. After Liza Soberano announced that she'd step down from the roles due to a serious hand injury (get well soon, Liza!), people have been speculating who was deserving to take her place.

We've always thought that Nadine Lustre has always been a top candidate for the role for several reasons:

1. She's a true Filipina beauty that's simple enough to portray the role of Narda, while having a strong enough personality to be able to portray a literal superhero, Darna.

2. She rocks bikinis like no other as we've seen her slay in her H&M ad.

3. She's already a role model to countless of young girls (and boys), which could be the chance to introduce great Filipino comics to a younger generation.

Honestly, this video only proved to us that she was meant to play the role.
