We’re proud to say that AO is best friends with Yam Concepcion. At least we think we are. Ever since we got to work with her for AO The Magazine, a twice-a-year print special out in bookstores soon, she has given us an open line.
Meaning, we can drop her a message on WhatApp any time of the day, even past midnight, for anything we might want to ask her and if she’s free she’d reply promptly. We joke a lot with her because we get her sense of humor, which is sharp, we tell you.
We’re glad that she’s huge now because we know she’s paid her dues. Her role as Jade in Halik, which concluded last April, is not the easiest of roles. She was hated for it. But that only means she did an awesome job being a wicked woman.
We channeled some of that vibe in the photo shoot we did for the magazine. Look at some of them:
