1. Vpeepz on World of Dance

VPeepz, a hip-hop dance crew made up of kids aged 11 to 16, is participating in the World of Dance competition judged by Ne-Yo, Jennifer Lopez, and Derek Hough. Their number set to Billie Eilish’s “&burn” netted them an average of 98.7 points from the three judges with Ne-Yo giving them a perfect 100.

2. TNT Boys on The World’s Best

It’s no secret that the TNT boys are some of the best young singers in the country today. So it was no surprise when they had everyone’s jaws on the floor with their rendition of “Listen” on The World’s Best. Their performance even earned them a guest spot on James Corden’s late night show where they got the chance to meet and sing with Arianna Grande.

3. KZ Tandingan on Singer

Last year, clips of KZ Tandingan singing in front of a Chinese audience surfaced online and we were honestly confused. Then we saw Jessie J take on the stage and at that point we had to find out what in the world was happening. Apparently, the clips were from a singing contest in China, which is (unimaginatively) called Singer. Jessie J won the entire thing (how one of the biggest stars in the world even qualified to compete, we don’t know) but Tandingan’s performances always brought the house down.

4. Filharmonic on The Sing-Off

The Filharmonic is an LA-based a cappella singing group made up of Filipino-Americans. Their first taste of the spotlight came from their appearance on The Sing-Off where the group Pentatonix also got their start. The Filharmonic just missed the finals of the competition but their performances were always regarded as some of the best in the competition. Since then, they’ve enjoyed a successful career abroad, even appearing in the second Pitch Perfect film.

5. Jej Vinson on The Voice USA

Jej Vinson was born and raised in Davao until their family decided to leave for the states when he was 15 years old. Now, Vinson is on Kelly Clarkson’s team in the 16th season of The Voice and is absolutely killing it. His battle round performance with Beth Griffith-Manley was certainly one of the best we’ve seen this season.
