Daquis, who plays the Outside/Open Hitter position and Gonzaga, who is an Opposite Hitter, are kind of like the Mark Caguioa-Jay Jay Helterbrand of volleyball. They play to each other’s strengths; their knowledge of each other’s moves borders on the telepathic. They’ve been honing this partnership since they first played together for the Philippine Army team in 2011. They have also become bosom buddies since, not to mention the wrecking tandem for all the teams they have played for.
Their reputations as top-level volleyball players are set in stone, but of course we at AO will not let it slide that Daquis and Gonzaga, if they weren’t playing volleyball, would have been two of our most beautiful and sexiest artistas.
