Rachel, along with her sister Lani, was one of the breakthrough sexy stars of that era. Kokak, which came out late 1989, drove Rachel to stardom heading into the 1990s, even getting to be San Miguel Beer's endorser.

Rita Avila 

Rita's pretty face and undeniable sex appeal propelled her to become a star. A part of the seminal show That's Entertainment, Rita crossed over to sexy roles, becoming the leading lady in many films of that era—with steamy love scenes.

Rina Reyes 

The daughter of showbiz veteran Baby O'Brien, Rina started out in teeny-booper flicks such as Bagets 2. It would not be long until she became another favorite leading lady in the 1990s, getting a lot of sexy projects with Seiko Films.

Cristina Gonzales 

Cristina was known as Kring-Kring when she started out. She was a teen singer. She would then cross over to sexy films, starting with 1990s Bikining Itim.

Gretchen Barretto 

Another product of That's Entertainment, Gretchen was stuck in pa-cute teen roles until she embraced sexy roles in the early 1990s. She would also become a favorite model for brand calendars.

Priscilla Almeda 

She started out as Abby Viduya when she was a mainstay of, you guessed it, That's Entertainment in 1986. She would become one of the most daring sexy stars of the 1990s, starring in movies such as Sariwa, Halimuyak Ng Babae, and Lagarista.

Amanda Page 

Barely able to speak Filipino, Amanda was nonetheless welcomed with open arms by Pinoy fans. She would heat up cinemas with her performance in the movie Gayuma.

Jessa Zaragoza 

Jessa was Priscilla Almeda's batchmate in That's Entertainment in 1986. Her most unforgettable sexy role was in the movie Masamang Damo.

Shiela Ysrael 

Another favorite leading lady in the 1990s, Shiela Ysrael started accepting sexy roles in movies such as Sariwang Bulaklak and Isla Paradiso.

Chin Chin Gutierrez

Chin Chin was one of the most beautiful faces to grace Philippine cinema. When she started doing sexy movies, particularly in 1996's Sa Aking Mga Kamay, it was a dream come true for every young Pinoys.

If we were to name just one star in that era of sexy films in the '90s, Rosanna Roces would definitely be it. She shone brighter than anyone else that time, and starred in extremely suggestively-titled movies as Patikim Ng Pinya, Kristina Moran, and Kahit Pader Gigibain Ko!.

Rita Magdalena 

Now based in America (and looking just as beautiful as when we last saw her), Rita scorched the screens in movies such as Unang Tibok, Katorse, and May Gatas Pa Sa Labi.

Izza Ignacio (1996)

Like most sexy stars in the mid to late '90s, Izza starred in some of the most ridiculously titled movies in Philippine movies such as Sa Iyo Ang Itaas, Sa Akin Ang Ibaba...Ng Bahay.

Ramona Revilla

You really can't go wrong with a movie entitled Sambahin Ang Puri Ko, Ramona's debut film in 1997. There's no mistaking what the movie is about with that title.

Klaudia Koronel 

Walang Dayaan Akin Ang Malaki, Linggo Lang Ang Pahinga, Anakan Mo Ako—Klaudia's movies aren't really trying to pretend to be about anything but sex. And we ate it all up then.

Aya Medel

Aya was also known as Papaya Medel, and she loved to flaunt her assets. She starred in steamy sex scenes in films as Masarap Masakit Ang Magmahal, all the way to 2000s in movies as Naked Nights, and Venus: Diyosa Ng Kagandahan.

Ynez Veneracion

Assunta de Rossi 

Formerly known as Assunta Schiavone, Assunta started doing sexy movies in the early 2000s. She appeared in movies such as Hubog, Sisid, and Red Diaries.

Rica Peralejo

One of the pioneers of Bubble Gang, Ruffa was funny as she was sexy. She showed some skin in Asin At Paminta, but her breakout role would be in 2001s Booba.

Sunshine Cruz 

Sunshine has been doing sexy roles since the '90s, but her most talked about performance was in a movie that was unreleased. Sexy scenes from Dukot Queen was uploaded in the internet in 2002, and it was one of the first 'leaked' footage controversies in Philippine showbusiness.

Ana Capri 

Another daring actress in the early 2000s was Ana Capri. Her scenes in Live Show were wild, and she would continue having sexy scenes in movies Bakat and Sex Files. 

Aleck Bovick 

Aleck would appear nude in the movies Hiram and Kerida. 

Barbara Milano 

Barbara's movies were all daring. She would appear nude in Kaulayaw, Tikim, Biglang Liko and more.

Diana Zubiri 

One of the fresh faces to appear nude in movies was Diana. She appeared in movies such as Itlog, Kasiping and Liberated.

Ara Mina 

Another That's Entertainment alum, Ara appeared in some of the sexiest films of the early 2000s, particularly in movies as Ang Huling Birhen Sa Lupa and Kalabit.

Viva Hot Babes

Founded by producer Vic del Rosario, the Viva Hot Babes launched the careers of Maui Taylor, Katya Santos and Andrea del Rosario. Other members include Kristine Jaca, Jen Rosendahl, Gwen Garci, Myles Hernandez, Hazel Cabrera and Sheree.

Aubrey MIles 

Aubrey burst unto the scene with the movie Prosti and quickly established herself as a sex goddess in Philippine cinema. She is still quite daring these days, as some posts on her IG would attest.

Juliana Palermo 

Another favorite of men's magazines at the time, Juliana didn't appear in as many sexy movies as those on this list. But she sure made a splash on her debut www.XXX.com.

Cindy Miranda

It would be several years before we would see actresses dare to bare on the screen, and in 2019 we were gifted for our patience. Cindy was a beauty queen who took on the role of a lesbian lover in the erotic-thriller Adan. Cindy had no hesitation taking on the role, and we're quite thankful for that.

Rhen Escaño

Playing Cindy's object of affection in Adan is Rhen Escaño. Rhen bravely played the role of a teenager in the middle of her sexual awakening. Her love scenes with Cindy is the hottest we've ever seen in the big screen, and that's saying a lot given the many movies listed here. With Adan breaking through and making its impact on Philippine cinema, is sex back in our local movie scene? We sure hope so. It's about damn time.
