If you're a (filthy) casual K-Pop listener, then you probably don't know that not all their idols are actually Korean. Take Lisa from Blackpink who is actually ลลิษา มโนบาล. Or Lalisa Manoban if you can't read Thai.

Can you tell now that you know?

Aside from her, there are also idols from China, Japan, and a whole lot of non-Korean born but Korean-blooded talents. This upcoming debutante is pretty intriguing though. Meet Lana.

Short for Svetlana, she's on track to become the first ever Russian K-Pop idol. She claims to have learned the language just from listening Koreans speak it in the library. What a beautiful mind.

And even though she's a full-blooded Russian, you can see that she has a K-Pop idol's "visuals" down pat with her pa-cute.

Down to having legs for days, of course.

So, even in Russia marami nang kinain ng K-Pop. We're ready to stan Lana!
